Lifts are available including the new unique combi cable car (2007), equipped with both 2 seater chairs and 4 seater gondolas which takes you to the highest point in Braunwald and the Gumen mountain restaurant. The group gondola lift takes you into the middle of the mountain region on Grotzenbuel where the Chamistube restaurant offers delicious Glarner specialities.
With 25km of snow-cleared hiking trails, 4km of cross -country trails, a snow park, snow tubing, 2 sledge runs and a natural ice rink, Braunwald has something for everyone. Want to learn to ski or snowboard - of course that's available too.
'Snowli' and his team of qualified instructors for children allow the little ones to make their first attempt on snow in a playful way with the Swiss Snowsport School. Big kids can learn too! |
