Outstanding musicians, especially young talents, always come back to Braunwald. Bringing in young artists is part of the concept of the Braunwald Music Week, as well as the inclusion of compositions from the 20th and 21st centuries, even though the emphasis is still on the performance of Baroque, Classical and Romantic works.
The traditional music week Braunwald has a new "theme" each year, which connects the musically illustrated matinees with lectures and discussions.
Parallel to the music week the singing week takes place. Amateur choral singers can register for this, participate in rehearsals and be part of a performance on Friday evening.
In addition to the Music Week in summer, the organisation of Musikwoche Braunwald also organizes individual concerts throughout the year.
Artists often become holidaymakers. One also meets outside of the concert hall in a light atmosphere. It is these social contacts between composers, performers, musicologists and audience, that make up the family atmosphere of these music weeks.
